It's been 9 months since I last posted and SO much has happened since then! Soren will be 1 next month, Seth is almost 3 & 1/2, Jon turned 30 last month, we celebrated 7 years of marriage in December. So, rather than trying to catch up on everything I'll just resolve to be more consistent in the future (hopefully...this sounds very familiar. Haha)Jon and Clair Leehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06719004295492055324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841337533544936090.post-78577401154104853612013-10-22T14:41:00.001-07:002013-10-22T14:41:59.656-07:00IsolationRecently I've been feeling especially isolated. I'm essentially stranded at our house (or at least within reasonable walking distance) with the 2 kids all day. Again, I'm reminded of how different the lifestyle is here compared to Chicago. There, I'd be able to walk to meet up with friends or go to the grocery. Here, life just doesn't function without a car. I'm thankful for the car we do have and that our home is comfortable and a good place to be with my children. I partially blame myself for my isolation because I haven't reached out to anyone about it. But I also feel like there's a breakdown of what our community should look like because most people here don't even think about someone not having (or having access to) a car. Not that having another car would make life perfect, but it sure would help break the monotony and help me and the kiddos get to spend more time with other people. I guess it's my sinful pride that keeps me from asking people to come to us. I don't want to be the needy, overdramatic, whiny stay at home mom that expects people to drop all that they've got going on to come rescue me from loneliness and seclusion. That said, I am needy. And overdramatic. And sometimes whiny about it. I'm not sure how to end this, so, The End. With my first pregnancy, my water broke at 37 weeks and 2 days and Seth was born at 37 + 3. This time, my doc is planning on inducing at 39 weeks (on or around August 14) if Soren hasn't come by then on her own. As most pregnant women do, I'm feeling WAY more emotions at once than any one human should be able to! I am excited to meet our little girl. I am apprehensive about our impending lack of sleep and the effect that will have on my parenting ability to a headstrong toddler. I am worried about how Seth is going to handle the arrival of his baby sister. And to top it all off, I'm exhausted and uncomfortable most of the time. I'm not writing this to complain, just to be able to remember this later down the road. I thank God for the blessing of this new life and this pregnancy and I am in continual prayer for our family and the relationships we will continue to build. I pray that our family can be on gospel mission in our community and that, rather than worrying about our incapabilities, we will rely on God's perfect ability and sovereignty. <br />

I chose prayer. Recently I had been feeling unmotivated to pray and when I did pray, I was super-easily distracted by anything and everything else. After sharing this with the 4 other members of my cohort, they started to dig into me about why this might be happening. They asked what I thought was preventing me from wanting to spend time with God in prayer. I said that I wasn't sure and we all agreed to be praying about it in the coming week. (Kinda funny, praying for God to tell me why I'm not praying.) Anyway, after that conversation, I began to pray at least once daily for the Spirit to move and really let me know where I may be sinning or not trusting Him. As the next few days rolled on, I found it easier to pray this prayer and found myself wanting more and more to just understand my sin and fight it! Today, I put Seth down for his nap and then hopped in the shower. I prayed again for the Spirit to reveal my sin so that I could repent of it and rejoice in God's finished work to save me. I finished praying and was about to get out of the shower when all of a sudden, it hit me: I am absolutely terrified about becoming a mother of two. I am so afraid of the changes that this will bring in our family. In all of my relationships (especially with Jon & Seth.) I have been so blind to this truth that was obviously negatively impacting my prayer-life. The one thing I most needed to be praying about was hindering me from talking with God at all. I was believing the lie that this was all for me to handle. I would just have to deal with it and make the best of things and persevere on my own will and strength. THIS IS FALSE! There is NO WAYthat I'm going to be able to get through this crushing fear and the months and years ahead without God's grace and mercy and sovereignty. I am so thankful to be where we are right now and to have friends that love us (and God) enough to want to help us fight our sin and who will fight right alongside us. I know that this will be a continual struggle for me and I am grateful that I am now able to identify it (praise God!) and go to Him with my worries and fears and sin. I know that my relationships will change, but I also know that God is big and loving. He knows me and He knows my sin, but he sees me as His redeemed daughter. It is God who accomplishes the work from first to last. My parents visited this past weekend and helped us get some major projects done! My dad and Jon installed some new cabinets, built shelves & put doors on the gaping holes in our kitchen! </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3zNDHveVY3L-6qFpzOcx_49BxbFx3k_AtuMfxZMrj-U8dWo3OP8_pXMNK_VqlGTBz8x4x2X_3NDXJYRCQgV4pHtHDmP_9FXrSXGonkIL5figtFb9_qSkPs1usA8JjZsYiykFWXOvt-qY/s1600/DSC_0192.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3zNDHveVY3L-6qFpzOcx_49BxbFx3k_AtuMfxZMrj-U8dWo3OP8_pXMNK_VqlGTBz8x4x2X_3NDXJYRCQgV4pHtHDmP_9FXrSXGonkIL5figtFb9_qSkPs1usA8JjZsYiykFWXOvt-qY/s320/DSC_0192.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
My mom and I tackled making roman shades for the breakfast room and kitchen windows. We basically did a modified version of <a href="http://littlegreennotebook.blogspot.com/2009/02/make-shades-out-of-mini-blinds.html">this</a> tutorial from Little Green Notebook on making roman shades from mini-blinds. I didn't take any process pictures, but I still have one more to make for the laundry room, so I'll try to remember to take pictures then! </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's a shot of how the fabric drapes over the mini-blind bar at the top. The fabric is glued to the back of that bar and then just drapes over the top and front. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJUOIDCvXXtnk0j67dAr32KdbsCtJIBL3u9nZmVLsFODEvlx_uGn_xpnbyDuYPByV6p5g3ZDUJIePpjeHEVjzJ2orqteTUusaXAnUv5_fPgAFS1vBHpoeQrwKukzVbRY1NlToRXyR08G0/s1600/DSC_0202.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="285" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJUOIDCvXXtnk0j67dAr32KdbsCtJIBL3u9nZmVLsFODEvlx_uGn_xpnbyDuYPByV6p5g3ZDUJIePpjeHEVjzJ2orqteTUusaXAnUv5_fPgAFS1vBHpoeQrwKukzVbRY1NlToRXyR08G0/s320/DSC_0202.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The finished shades turned out so great! I am super pleased with the results. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXRXC_XDKQ9XPN5FLKldEa6whS3btmu5MidnRhUloqFezQxK6vlyHbOxpj3i5WpDQe4wMCn3zelTwU-9OZJcelcz76_c14J6c8g9AvJ2yD38twJMHm4ygNXwLQ8R3yreV2ectW2qrx1lI/s1600/DSC_0197.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="261" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXRXC_XDKQ9XPN5FLKldEa6whS3btmu5MidnRhUloqFezQxK6vlyHbOxpj3i5WpDQe4wMCn3zelTwU-9OZJcelcz76_c14J6c8g9AvJ2yD38twJMHm4ygNXwLQ8R3yreV2ectW2qrx1lI/s320/DSC_0197.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is the back of the blind. You can see where the ribs are glued to the fabric. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi87goGvdbDbVrAPaO2_sx1s2p7TwNqaqVpw2_T2UqB9kXT_pc3oWy5788LP83D863eqyFkUkXNE4Uzt-yd6X1ahh38DfPkPD8ZLsLor4qKDiEtKWXlCqxPPb9TzHtTwuh_Vnf9VKLIy5w/s1600/DSC_0198.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi87goGvdbDbVrAPaO2_sx1s2p7TwNqaqVpw2_T2UqB9kXT_pc3oWy5788LP83D863eqyFkUkXNE4Uzt-yd6X1ahh38DfPkPD8ZLsLor4qKDiEtKWXlCqxPPb9TzHtTwuh_Vnf9VKLIy5w/s320/DSC_0198.JPG" width="212" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
And here you can see the seam on the side of the patterned fabric and the lining fabric. This was a key difference in our method and the LGN method. My mom was adamant about having them lined, so after cutting our fabric to size, she sewed them together and then ironed them nice and flat and we glued the ribs to the back of the lining. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
We are so thankful for all the help my parents have given and continue to give us! (I think they also enjoyed spending more time with Seth. :) )</div>

Last week, our theme was Ballpark Food! Any and everything you can get while watching baseball at your favorite ballpark. I had all the ingredients for soft pretzels, so I thought I'd give it a shot! I used <a href="http://www.foodnetwork.ca/recipes/recipe.html?dishid=11531">this</a> recipe and had, unfortuneatly mixed success with it. Next time, I think I'll try a different recipe just to see what the differences are. <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Before rising.</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGHU7YskIbldQ7k55Ct36rVrev83i31apolPatv29nNR4pcahVIDZhodYJLk2RupgrBhXhyyXTPf6Wyi0x7CpsvgnprzRBiQsIBBG4YXxa-NxUihkVlK9OzxOKOpWp-jludao-IfTnN4s/s1600/539903_752179195042_34100239_34759423_1747980497_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGHU7YskIbldQ7k55Ct36rVrev83i31apolPatv29nNR4pcahVIDZhodYJLk2RupgrBhXhyyXTPf6Wyi0x7CpsvgnprzRBiQsIBBG4YXxa-NxUihkVlK9OzxOKOpWp-jludao-IfTnN4s/s320/539903_752179195042_34100239_34759423_1747980497_n.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">After boiling/baking.</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJqgppcim4xr-YCaaFp2CwmLEbla1Jxau3Mt4FlHUjzbLhVtme9msxbwwM0VsPZyoOO7XJdDqsGDfmkmsIzpAWM6atEN-JrinSyeM4DPEVa2Od5otMYkTUG4VPT6jiJOLqTq0avRCrxIc/s1600/529238_752224020212_34100239_34759742_1124707347_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJqgppcim4xr-YCaaFp2CwmLEbla1Jxau3Mt4FlHUjzbLhVtme9msxbwwM0VsPZyoOO7XJdDqsGDfmkmsIzpAWM6atEN-JrinSyeM4DPEVa2Od5otMYkTUG4VPT6jiJOLqTq0avRCrxIc/s320/529238_752224020212_34100239_34759742_1124707347_n.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The results looked good, but were kind of strange. Parts of them tasted pretty good, while other parts tasted really bad! (To me, it seemed almost like pockets of yeast had gathered in areas and gave a very bitter taste...not sure though. The dough was mixed well in a KitchenAid mixer.) If anyone else tries this recipe or finds a better one, let me know your results!!! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

I loved Rogers Park and all that living there entailed. I miss our friends. I miss our church. I miss hearing people banging around the dumpster in the middle of the night. I miss taking walks with my fellow mommies and their kiddos.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHUkd5Oek9ZKDY8vxqQvdJ5xLm5wF05TrBTbdEaQzp5Zkjt9S9ZKKT0K3qP1s2eT4TJaGOg5Z6qogc2do_nOx2KY8mMhd2yODSp2iU2XI0OzVzgF8gE0-3xW9MTEaUc3E_sHZOYSi4wCg/s1600/293608_663128942462_34100239_34280426_3701891_n.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHUkd5Oek9ZKDY8vxqQvdJ5xLm5wF05TrBTbdEaQzp5Zkjt9S9ZKKT0K3qP1s2eT4TJaGOg5Z6qogc2do_nOx2KY8mMhd2yODSp2iU2XI0OzVzgF8gE0-3xW9MTEaUc3E_sHZOYSi4wCg/s320/293608_663128942462_34100239_34280426_3701891_n.jpeg" width="238" /></a></div><br />
<br />
Texas is just so different. I have made some great friends here. I love our new church. I love being closer to family. I love the sky here. But I will always look back on our time in Chicago with very fond memories and probably teary eyes. Praise God for the time we got to spend there! Praise God for the friends we made there! Praise Him that we moved to Texas with peace in our hearts about the decision. <br />
<br />
I try not to dwell on RP too much because it makes me long to be back there. I don't want to seem ungrateful or unhappy about being in Texas, because I'm not! I do love so many things about being here. I just sometimes have trouble reconciling my feelings about moving away from Chicago with those of living here now. I can accept that I was happy there and that I am also happy here. I think I am just hoping for a kind of replacement for the friendships that I left behind. I know I will never find that though. I think that living in a place like RP just builds different relationships. I am unable to just walk a few blocks to join friends for coffee. I can't catch a bus or train to visit a museum with them. <br />
<br />
Conclusion: I need a car to have friends here. :)Jon and Clair Leehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06719004295492055324noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841337533544936090.post-85230976267749029852012-03-30T08:41:00.000-07:002012-03-30T08:41:23.831-07:00I'm bad at this blogging thing...Yeah...<br />
<br />
So, we moved to Texas in November. Jon started his job on March 5. Seth turned 1 on March 20. Now it's time for us to start thinking about getting a place of our own to live. It's been wonderful living with Jon's parents, but it will be nice to have our own space again. I'll try to be better about updating. We shall see. :)<br />

This time it was roasted tilapia, potatoes and lemons and it was quick and tasty! I just love the simplicity of meals that cook all in the same dish. So, here's the recipe for the tilapia, but you should definitely also check out Real Simple's other one pot meals! Fun and delicious!<br />

</div>To be married to a man who knows how to cook! Tonight for dinner, Jon has prepared a delicious pork loin with garlic & onions in our cast iron dutch oven. First he cooked the onions and garlic in some chicken broth, then added in the pork loin and seared it in the stove. Then he popped the whole dish in the oven and baked it. Now we're enjoying a scrumptious dinner, including baked potatoes and fancy mac & cheese. (Gotta love those starches!) <br />

Temps topped out around 80 degrees and it was sunny and lovely. We spent a good portion of the day walking around our neighborhood and along the beach with Seth. We ran into a few friends on our excursion (including another beautiful, new baby!) This was also our first use of our fancy stroller and it was a great success. :)</div><div>

Now we're in a phase of adjustment and learning as we discover our life with this new little guy. :)Jon and Clair Leehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06719004295492055324noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841337533544936090.post-44455116780609967382011-02-02T17:52:00.000-08:002011-02-02T18:03:56.555-08:00Pork Chops With Goat Cheese and Caramelized Onion<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUVFdPL_VX-2YX4emxY4bNYvDdSk-WPmyrQi0vbrFurC-MLmHVeZEsYGFU7Y-30oVM2BIhGaAnnTXOAUAanRcKhdjb8155kNR2uR1NzvGlLY4usXOWD_7FBCpoH8E8-O38seGqj-tP4Dc/s1600/100_3181.JPG"><img style="float: right; margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUVFdPL_VX-2YX4emxY4bNYvDdSk-WPmyrQi0vbrFurC-MLmHVeZEsYGFU7Y-30oVM2BIhGaAnnTXOAUAanRcKhdjb8155kNR2uR1NzvGlLY4usXOWD_7FBCpoH8E8-O38seGqj-tP4Dc/s320/100_3181.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5569277845891123202" border="0" /></a><span style="font-weight: bold;">Ingredients:</span> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;"><br />Servings: 4</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;"><br /></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 1 small red onion, sliced</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 1 tablespoon butter</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 1 teaspoon olive oil</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 1/2 cup chicken broth, plus<br />*2 tablespoons chicken broth, divided</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 1 teaspoon brown sugar</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 1 teaspoon garlic, minced</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 1 tablespon olive oil</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 1/2 teaspoon salt</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or less, to taste)</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 4 pork chops, about 1 to 1.5-inch thick</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 2 ounces goat cheese (or more)</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* flour, to dust</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 1 tablespoon butter</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 2 tablespoons heavy cream, room temperature</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">* 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped<br /></p><h3 style="margin-left: 0.5in;"><span style="display: none;">Servings Size</span></h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1in; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="display: none;font-family:Symbol;" >·<span style="font: 7pt "Times New Roman";"> </span></span><span style="display: none;"><span style=""> </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1in;"><em><span style="display: none;">Update</span></em><span style="display: none;"></span></p><h2 style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size:100%;">Directions:</span><span style="font-size:100%;"><strong><br /><br /></strong><span style="font-weight: normal;" class="preptime">Prep Time: 15 mins</span></span><span style="font-size:100%;"><strong></strong><span class="duration"><br /><span style="font-weight: normal;">Total Time: 1 1/4 hr</span></span></span></h2> <ol start="1" type="1"><li class="MsoNormal" style=""><em></em>Preheat oven to 350°F.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style=""><em></em>Melt 1 tbsp butter in 1 tsp olive oil in medium sized, oven proof sauce pan over medium/medium high heat.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style=""><em></em>Add red onion. We arrived in Arkansas the evening of December 23. Christmas Eve was spent in quality time with my parents. My mom and I partook in pedicures together (thanks, Mom!) we saw "True Grit" and had Mexican food for dinner. Such a nice day. Then on Christmas day, we woke up and opened gifts and stockings and had a lovely breakfast casserole. Later, my dad, Jon and I drove down to Fort Smith to pick up my Mamma (Dad's mom) and brought her back up the hill to Springdale. We spent the rest of the day relaxing and talking. Sunday morning, my brother came over with his 2 daughters, and we got to watch them open a lot more gifts! We had a great Christmas dinner on Sunday with a lot of the Mobley family and then headed back north to Chicago. It's back to work tomorrow for 2 days and then we'll drive south to Tennessee on Wednesday for New Years celebration with the Grants and Franks!Jon and Clair Leehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06719004295492055324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841337533544936090.post-91173611551908802542010-12-11T19:53:00.000-08:002010-12-11T19:59:19.764-08:00Crafty Owl<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVjgqjdHNuSEPn2RagRxIuYn47wMMGEAGU5tQn6TR8EVVnljNNx5VY8meMJDmd3Df64JVl0Etm3KuGr_90X3fiZ7w4rFqHcecfDLI2huqm5UhPk6TiMYm2In1uLHstQKF8ElmyJd-WgLo/s1600/100_3028.JPG"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 219px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVjgqjdHNuSEPn2RagRxIuYn47wMMGEAGU5tQn6TR8EVVnljNNx5VY8meMJDmd3Df64JVl0Etm3KuGr_90X3fiZ7w4rFqHcecfDLI2huqm5UhPk6TiMYm2In1uLHstQKF8ElmyJd-WgLo/s320/100_3028.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5549639288558361890" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br />Today, my friends Laura and Hana and I found this pattern to make these cute stuffed owls! (http://www.sewsimple.com/articles/otis_the_owl_patterns) We picked up some fun fabric remnants at Vogue Fabric in Evanston and got to work. After about 2 hours of cutting out pieces and sewing them all together, this is the result! Hopefully Seth will appreciate my handiwork someday, but for now, I'm pretty proud of myself. <br />:)Jon and Clair Leehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06719004295492055324noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841337533544936090.post-45122790640709945962010-12-07T11:55:00.001-08:002010-12-07T12:08:01.110-08:00Another Childhood FavoriteSpam Casserole!<br /><br />1 pkg curly (egg) noodles - cooked & drained<br />1 Cup cottage cheese<br />1 cup (or more to taste) sour cream<br />1 small onion, grated<br />garlic salt to taste<br />1 can spam, diced<br />1 8oz. can tomato sauce<br /><br />Combine all ingredients and bake at 350 degrees until heated through. We got to see (and take home) many images of our little baby boy, Seth Isaac Lee. It is so incredible to be able to see our child at this point. It's hard to imagine that that little human being is living inside of me right now. We are praying that God will continue to grow Seth as a healthy baby and that the remainder of the pregnancy will go smoothly. Here are a few pictures from Monday!<br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 241px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5540897209623198450" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgX6oipcW67gIovjKcCDfvO8yK9NxgKIdNEMK4p7_N5Fov1Tr6f-sqvxOGnNxfMdp4EBAu8hIXZrMCvAxRCDbJNV_UGFsvJkoYHgKLzwKD3f9p_70vZNO8dUqIiGuiHvAZMfi_-Z19bIXA/s320/75862_592174810112_34101220_33688268_3476491_n.jpg" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 504px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 206px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5540897214686937906" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFjQwSEA78X41uURnDcs1nRyKAoq_HapKjSaKdWpvnVSbt8cbFxtC-KBRVS6hQ1bxsW8Ee0djTocGGsZVIWsAXF_rLSdiUfYhEEgGEQt85hdPrzlopFqz3swXnDAu4RO4btrcwRF50A_A/s320/76691_592174865002_34101220_33688269_6669811_n.jpg" /><br /><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div></div>Jon and Clair Leehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06719004295492055324noreply@blogger.com1
